Making an Appointment:
Feel free to contact me by phone or email. I will call you back as quickly as that day, or within 24 hours. We will talk a bit and schedule an appointment.

Initial Appointment:
At the first appointment we will be determining if we will work together going forward.  I believe that it is an important opportunity for you to ask me questions, get a feel for my style and approach, and for me to get a sense of what your needs may be going forward and to make recommendations, share impressions.

Going Forward:
If we work together we schedule a regular weekly session time. The sessions run 45 minutes.

Insurance:
Many of my patients are able to receive reimbursement (or partial reimbursement) from their health insurance companies if they have out-of-network benefits.
Begin by contacting your health insurance company, usually the Behavioral Health Dept (the term widely used for Mental Health Services). Ask them if you have out-of-network coverage, and what they’ll reimburse. They will ask for my name and credential (LCSW-R). You will be required to pay for your therapy and I will provide you with the necessary completed paperwork to then submit for reimbursement. I attempt to make this as easy as possible.
